Bali – what it cost …

… so what did it all cost?

Perth to Bali (AirAsia) – $270 each

Parking at Perth airport – $95 each

Visas – $50 each

5 nights at S8 Bali Villas – $670

Driver to and from the airport – $15 each way

Grab to or from Seminyak – $2.50 to $3.50 each way

3 hour massage – $45 each

Dinner at Sate House – $20

Pedicure – $34

Dinner at Ginger Moon – $45

Downhill bike ride in Ubud – $59 each (thanks to family in Scotland)

6 pairs of Bali pants – $30

Dinner at Kaum Restaurant, Potato Head – $94

Grab to or from Kuta – $1.50 each way

1.5 hour massage $55 (balinese) or $60 (warm stone)

Bintang merch – $30

Bali belly remedy – $6

We also withdraw some cash, purchased duty free alcohol for Bali and to collect for home, and ate expensive airport food. So our total spend for 5 days and 5 nights, in a private 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom villa with a private swimming pool and breakfast was $4000AUD. Probably not the cheapest trip anyone has ever taken to Bali, but we weren’t trying to do it on the cheap. And if I die tomorrow, I have experienced a private Villa with its own pool, and for that alone, it was worth it!
