Our top 11 things to do (in no particular order) if you are fortunate to spend some time in Lisbon.
Hire a whoosh scooter and zip around.

Visit the Castelo in the evening and wander the grounds with very few other people.

Get lost than find yourself in the tiny streets and alleyways in the Alfama district.

Climb the bell tower of the Castelo church.

Try ginjinha from a chocolate cup. I bet you’ll want more.

Catch the 28e tram, just don’t queue for it at the start. Jump on it somewhere along the route and take it away from the city to the end, then hop off (you don’t have a choice), queue and hop straight back on!

Take a funicular or two or three, from the top down to avoid the crowds.

Ride the HippoTrip amphibious vehicle and don’t hesitate to yell ‘Ooray!

Eat loads and loads and loads of pastel de nata in Belem and croquettes at Time Out. They are divine!

Drink Sangria every day, atop a different roof top bar! We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Visit at the time of the Feast of Saint Anthony. You will love the party!
