Wednesday does count because it was a travel day from Malta via Zagreb to Dubrovnik. I don’t care what anyone says, when you travel like that it is not about the travel and is only about the destination!
Thank goodness for great accommodation.
After a rainy night, we woke to a cloudy Thursday and headed off to our pre-booked walking tours. The first took in the walls, with great history and awesome views.

The second started well and ended early thanks to pouring rain. Nonetheless the city is lovely and I am sure the rain is better than a hot summer day!

Time for a bus ride to the port and a beer among the yachts.

Friday seemed like a great day to take a quad bike up to the highest point above the city. It was a fun ride; more off road than we’ve take quads before! Always useful to remember that yesterday’s rain becomes today’s puddle!

Our first stop was a view over the port.

Our second stop provided a great view over where we live

and the old city.

After tending to washing, we wandered back into the much drier old town for gelato and a cache.

We wound up our time in Du’ with a delicious burger.

It’s been a lovely place to explore. Get yourself here soon.
